The T500 is built around a second-generation, fully self-developed permanent magnet synchronous motor. With 88 N·m of peak torque and 16,000 motor control adjustments per second, it delivers stronger, more precise resistance and a personalised inertia feel based on your rider parameters. It simulates climbs, flats and descents like outdoor riding, and in ERG mode it makes smooth interval transitions.

The ceiling is high: 2200 W handles professional sprints and short burst tests, and 20% gradient simulation goes well beyond HC-level climbs. A cooling system combining passive and active cooling keeps it stable through long, steep sessions. Downhill assistance simulates a realistic descent by calculating wind resistance, rolling resistance and gradient (power connection required).

Self-Power and Road Feel

With self-power technology, you can ride without plugging in, whether in the living room, on the balcony or at a race warm-up, with no loss of performance. The built-in super capacitor keeps the connection alive after you stop pedalling, so a quick break or drink does not interrupt ride recording or drop your app connection. In self-powered mode the T500 can also simulate 9 road surfaces, including cobblestones, gravel, brick, cattle grids and wooden boards (road feel simulation needs the Onelap app).

Connectivity and Compatibility

Three-channel Bluetooth lets you connect up to three devices at once, for example controlling the trainer in TrainerRoad on your phone while sending power to Zwift or ROUVY on a tablet. The T500 also bridges ANT+ heart rate monitors to Bluetooth, which frees a Bluetooth slot on devices like Apple TV. With ANT+ FE-C and BLE FTMS it works with Onelap, Zwift, TrainerRoad, ROUVY, Kinomap, Wahoo SYSTM X, BKOOL and MyWhoosh (compatibility may vary with software version).

The unobstructed drive-side design and narrow non-drive-side beam keep the trainer clear of the frame and clamp. Set-up is quick: no calibration needed, foldable legs and a large handle make it easy to move around, and a 4 mm floor mat is included to reduce noise.
