The CS Series has built a reputation for being among the lightest disc-brake wheels in its class while staying comfortable and responsive. For 2026 CRW refined the formula rather than reinventing it: the rear rim is wider to better match the front (internal width up from 21mm to 24mm), the set is 40g lighter, and the hubs now have tuneable bearing preload.

The extra air volume at the rear means you can run a few PSI less for the same feel. On the road the CS5060 keeps the character of the previous generation: it accelerates quickly, absorbs road imperfections better than many carbon-spoked rivals, and still feels direct and stiff when you put the power down.

Prefer a shallower, more all-round rim? The CS4045 uses the same platform with a 40mm front and 45mm rear rim.

Hubs

All bearings need the right preload to run smoothly and last. The 2026 hubs are preset at the factory for road bikes with 10–12N·m of thru-axle torque. If the bearings feel off after installation, loosen the grub screw, adjust the preload with the wheel clamped in the bike as ridden, then retighten. If play appears later in the life of the bearings, tighten the preload collar to restore smooth running.

Rotor lock ring note: because of the preload design, the 2026 CRW wheels only work with Center Lock rotor lock rings that have the tool pattern on the outside. A suitable lock ring is included and fits a standard 16-notch bottom bracket tool.
